I love to draw and paint, and dance and play music, and read. I have always enjoy watching a pencil glide across a page as an image forms, taking shape and gathering emotion. Little lines ,some bold some soft, create the art we see, turning a blank paper or canvas into something beautiful. It is a truly incredible thing, the way we, as humans, see the world around us. Perspective is intriguing.

Hi, I'm Kefira! This piece was inspired by my beloved bunny, Miss Baby Bunson (but we just call her Bunson). She passed away recently and I wanted to take this wonderful chance to honor her (rest in peace, Bun-Bun). She was a very sweet, lovable bunny and I feel that this artwork really captures her adorably curious self. I will cherish this piece forever and hang it in my room as soon as I get a frame!

My name is Emilio and I love drawing because you can tell a story in your own way. I learned about the meteor shower which killed dinosaurs and that inspired me to draw Robo Dino. In this story the meteor shower causes fire and Robo Dino was the only dinosaur to survive. He lost parts of his body but found a robot body that he used to save himself. Now he is happy to start a new life in the city. This drawing makes me feel happy that the dinosaur survived and escaped the fire.

My name is Sercie, and I love capturing people and their expressions in my art. I have five siblings (three biological), so I’m always surrounded by different personalities that inspire my drawings. I did my entire kindergarten year on Outschool, and my teacher Shelby is still in my life today. Art is my escape and a way to express myself. I created this piece on my tablet using a digital pencil and focused on giving the character a playful, confident personality.

My name is Aarya, and I love drawing animals. I was inspired to create this piece because I enjoy studying how animals look and trying to capture their expressions and personalities. I especially liked working on the eyes and fur to make the drawing come alive. This artwork makes me feel proud and excited, and it inspires me to keep practicing and getting better at art.

This piece makes me feel happy and proud of myself. I have been working on improving my art, and this piece shows the hard work I have put into art. I was inspired to make this piece, because I love wildlife and wanted an animal that would show my hard work and perseverance to improve my art.

Hi! My name is Anita and I always get inspired when I go outside to the nature. It calms all my stress away while I sense all the peace coming to me. I see the plants flowing, and I hear the wind gently brush in my ear. In this artwork, I make sure I include everything about what I feel about nature and how it inspires me.

Hi! I'm Samantha and I have been doing art as long as I can remember, and I have always loved it! My piece is a surprising friendship between a yellow Labrador and a Mallard duck along a pond with a beautiful mountain setting. I love this piece because it reminds me of my favorite animals along with my favorite setting, mountains. My love of the outdoors and animals is also what inspired this piece.

The main two things that inspired my piece are 1. the stars, and 2. my love for Greek art. I wanted to incorporate the process I once learned the Greeks commonly used to properly create "beautiful" women and "handsome" men (typically the Archimedean spiral) as well as the art worthy equations that explain the creations, movements, and positions of nebulas, energy, and matter. In the end, I wanted the piece to feel inspiring, dramatic, and free.

My artwork is inspired by my grandpa and watching beautiful, colorful sunsets. I always wanted to get to know my grandpa, so in my artwork is me and him walking in a beautiful winter forest, as the sun sets. My grandpa always dressed nicely, and wore a nice old fashion hat. He loved nature and taught my mom how to throw river rocks that skid on lakes. My mom always tells me stories about him, and what he was like. It takes me to a different time and I am happy he was my grandpa.

My name is Alexander, I am 11 years old, I really like to draw and color. I like the fairy tale "Cinderella", and just wanted to draw Cinderalla how I see her. I was really enjoying making that picture and realy like how it came out. Thank you so much for considering my picture.

My name is Eli and I am 13 years old. Since I was 4, I have always loved making art, but over the past year I have started to draw much more seriously. I was inspired to make this piece because I love the art of ONE PIECE. I feel very proud of this drawing because I think it is one of the best pieces of art I have made so far.

My name is Gayle, and since I love books and they really inspire me I decided to draw about one to enter it. Books make me feel happy, so I made art that shows a magic book with a unicorn, a dragon and a sun made out of delicious kiwi. Anything can happen in a book, that's why they inspire me!

My piece was inspired when I went on a trip to Kenya Africa. The animals who roamed seemed so free, especially from taxes. The animals also seemed so majestic, like the slimness of the cheetah or the mane of the lion. So I wanted to show that freedom in an art work symbolizing the animals being free.

I made this piece because I love dogs and mice. I think that this piece is very colorful, and I like anything that is colorful, especially if it explodes. Mickey made a cake, and Pluto wanted it, but Pluto is a dog, and dogs aren't supposed to eat certain types of cake. Mickey baked Pluto a dog-friendly cake, so they can eat cake together. I showed my mom and she liked it. I was a bit surprised because she hates mice, but she told me that Mickey wasn't a mouse for some reason. I'm very confused.

I grew up in a city and I loved the wonder of these sky-reaching monuments with many people all doing their own thing. I also liked seeing how ecosystems function like jungles and oceans. So I based this piece off of the idea of conserving and having industrialization and cities being in harmony and intertwined with the natural world. It makes me feel hopeful for what humanity can do if we'd allow ourselves to function with nature and actually make an effort to conserve the beauty of ecosystems.

Hi,I'm Olivia I drew this during Covid while worried about things in the world & we stayed at home a lot. First the virus, sick people, then the fires in our neighborhood, houses burnt, smoke was everywhere. I saw littering everywhere too at the beach and water showed high bacteria. The world felt stressed like me. I wished for something to change all of that. Learning flags of countries in geography made me think of creating a world peace sign & a hope drawing for things to get better one day.

This beautiful Scarlet Macaw is listening to the sound of nature and wondering if she should stay or fly away into the canopy of the Amazon. I am inspired by nature. I am 13 years old. Art brings me peace, so when I draw the nature around me, I feel we are one.

Hi! My name is Wesson, and I am just 8 years old! I love cats, and my cat Bowser is why I sketched this cartoon drawing of him with a mouse toy. He is a big fluff-ball, and it is fun to watch him play. I feel happy and loved by my cat, and I wanted to share him with you.

I am six years old and I love to create through drawing, painting and model making. I was inspired by Jim Dine to create this painting for my mother using mixed media like tissue paper, crayon and paints. The painting makes me feel happy as it uses the colors I love and the heart is full of love.

I am a 5th grade student who enjoys drawing and expressing my feelings through art. I chose to submit this drawing because it is my first realistic eye drawing and because an eye can show emotions without using words. In this piece, I tried to show a mix of feelings like curiosity, nervousness, and hope. This drawing makes me feel proud, and it reminds me that it’s okay to have a lot of different emotions while I’m growing and learning.

As a person who's always adored cats, the Bengal tiger is a feline I have always admired for it's majestic behavior and resplendent striped coat. My love for animals has awakened a passion inside that has driven me to create realistic animal portraits such as these. I hope this simple drawing can emphasize the beauty of the Bengal tiger.

My name is Maeva, I've been drawing realistic and cartoon since I was very young. My personal favorite style of drawing is anime; it's opened up such a massive world for me and lets me be inspired everyday by the wonders found in the small details. I decided to draw this picture with one of my favorite shows in mind, I hope to make my own series and one day be able to include this scene I have created, I hope this brings you as much joy as it brought me, to make and present to you.

Good day to you. My name is Adaire Renee and I've alway been fascinated with painting and literature. This painting is inspired by the book, "Bridge of Clay" written by Markus Zusak. Hence the name of the painting. The book is strongly recommended though there is some crude language. I hope you like them both.

My name is Addison and I love pigs because they are pink and cute. I especially like piglets because they are small and you can hold them. I also love when they oink! I drew these pigs to show how happy and friendly they are. This picture makes me feel happy and drawing them made me smile, and I hope it makes other people smile too.

Hi my name is Valentina and I love drawing and sewing.I also love bows and bedazzling things so I had to put it in my art piece!! I was inspired by my fashion design class. We did runway fashion this week. It makes me feel happy and joyful!! I hope you love it.🩷🎀

I am a intensive dancer, and perform in many different genres of dance. But a favorite of mine is ballet. Recently, I was invited to go en pointe and received my first pair of pointe shoes. I am inspired to work hard and improve in ballet and pointe!

I made this art piece for a homework assignment. It is inspired by the painting "Surprised!" by Rousseau. I love dragons, and so I remade my own version to include them. This art piece, "The Roar of Thunder" changes the focus from the main ground to the background, revealing two dragons. It shows that there is more than one way to make beautiful art.

I love drawing and anything fashion related. I spend most of my free time drawing, reading, and looking through my old sketchbooks. In one of my sketchbooks I found a really pretty purple and blue dress, and decided to recreate it for the showcase. I hope the judges like it as much as I do!

I'm Kyla, an artist who loves creating characters and diving deep into their stories. The character featured here is one that I love very much, named Lieke. I wanted this drawing to evoke a feeling you have when you're on vacation, strolling the beach at sunset. It may feel melancholy; the setting sun bringing you ever closer to the end of fun times, but it's a beautiful sight that brings you joy nevertheless.

My name is Sercie and I love drawing people and their expressions. I have five siblings (three biological), so I’m always surrounded by different personalities that inspire my art. This piece is inspired by a homeschooled Olympian and the quiet strength it takes to follow your own path. I created it with markers and pen, focusing on emotion in the eyes and face. Art is my escape and a way to capture the stories I see in people.

Hello, my name is Laila. I never seen space and I want to see it one day. That’s why I made this art piece. I’d like to get into the rocket and fly to the space. My favorite planet is Saturn and the Earth. We live on the Earth and I love our home planet. Thank you.

Hi! My name is Cassandra, I enjoy drawing anime and manga style art. The inspiration for my piece is the emotions I feel when I reflect on my self. This piece to me, expresses deep reflection and contemplation. I feel calmly happy when I look at this, and I want others to feel that too. :D

So about myself, I always love musical pieces, playing instruments, and art. However, considering the fact that I don't even play the Guitar, I just thought that the instrument is a vibrant way of expressing my thought, and when I did this piece of art, I made sure to include a bit of colorful explosion. It gives me great joy when I finished my art .

I am a passionate young artist who loves animation and traditional art. My piece was inspired by my daily life. At the center are my adorable pugs, Mochi and Morita, my biggest inspiration. The floating icons represent my artistic world—making videos, drawing, and animating. Looking at this drawing makes me feel proud and peaceful. It reminds me that art is my safe space. Creating this makes me feel incredibly free and joyful because it shows the world exactly who I am inside.

Hello! I'm Lucy and I love dinosaurs. I love Art, specifically paleoart, too. I wanted my art piece to look like you just took a picture of a dinosaur, who might be scared of a volcano. I want the piece to make you feel like you've been swept away by some mysterious force that took you to the Mesozoic era, and instead of thinking that everything is in chaos, all you can think is "Wow, the wonders of Earth".

I am Layla, and I love a lot of mascot horror (a media that makes a setting with a mascot scary!) I made this art piece with a character from Indigo Park, which is a game I love a lot! I think Rambley the Racoon, who is the mascot and digital guide character! I decided to draw him to show my love for the game!

My painting is inspired by nature and it's wild, powerful landscapes. This I have made from pure memory of what I know the African savanna looks like. This makes me feel happy, but also remembers me that this stunning wildlife will one day leave us if we don't stop hurting them, they'll go extinct! Showing the awes of nature and protecting it is my goal in life.

Hi, my name is Dmitri. My grandpa taught me how to do stained glass several years ago. I love marine biology and anything having to do with oceans. I have a friend who has a salt water aquarium and her angelfish was born without a tail. I created my very own pattern for this stained glass window. It was a lot of fun to work on and have to learn where my glass points needed to be.

Ms. Amy inspires us to draw landmarks from all over the world. This week we sketched the Alhambra gateway in Spain, in under 40 minutes. She teaches us techniques to be efficient and draw in our own style. This is my favorite after-school activity. I look forward to it every week!

My name is Evie. I’m homeschooled and I have been taking art class for 3 years with Ms. Z. I chose to draw penguins and title my piece Love In All Things, because God gave love to all creatures great and small. You can see that penguins love each other because they look after their chicks. It makes me feel good, because God loves penguins and so He must love us. It also reminds me of God’s beauty and grace.

I was inspired by survival in the wild. In my painting, a girl and her cat are camping in the wilderness. There are many different trees and plants around them, and many shades of green that make the forest look full of life. In the middle of the picture, there is a warm campfire lighting up the girl. She is fishing by the river with her cat beside her. You can see their reflections in the water. Far away in the wilderness, there is a rainbow that you can faintly see in the sky.

Vivian is a creative and imaginative drawing artist who brings ideas to life through her unique perspective and attention to detail. She enjoys expressing herself through sketches, using lines, shapes, and shading to tell stories and capture emotions. Her artwork reflects both her creativity and her growing confidence as an artist, making each piece a meaningful expression of how she sees the world.

Im Lacey, military child following her dad. Just pulled from the sunshine of Florida to the winter of the Midwest. My piece is inspired by the warm sun that my skin misses so deeply. It makes me feel that Gods masterpiece is worth sharing. We are created to create.

AI tools may not be used to create any part of the artwork. Learn more about our submission guidelines here.
Our team reviews your learner’s artwork to make sure it meets the showcase rules and submission guidelines. This could take up to a week. You’ll get an email once it’s in the Showcase.
