During our four weeks together, your children will learn different yoga poses and flow sequences. No prior knowledge of yoga or is necessary. Just a willingness to learn how to become more focused, balanced and relaxed. Please note: there will be a bit of discussion time at the beginning and end of class, but the actual yoga flow will be focused on allowing the kids to move and experience the yoga (without discussion). Hi everyone! I'm Robyn Parets, founder of Pretzel Kids yoga and Breathe Joy Yoga! I'm also a mom to 3 boys and a yoga/meditation teacher for almost 20 years. Pretzel Kids yoga is one of the fastest-growing youth yoga and mindfulness brands in America. I'm thrilled to bring this important practice to your kids as mindfulness has been proven to help tweens/teens sleep better and reduce anxiety and stress. In addition to my training and background in yoga & meditation, I'm trained in Mindfuness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) from UMass (the program started by Jon Kabat-Zinn). The Pretzel Kids yoga & mindfulness curriculum was developed by yoga & school teachers and is now in place in schools, gyms, recreation centers, camps and more.
