The teacher will explain astronomy in the character of a wizard, drawing parallels between the myths surrounding planets, stars, and constellations, and the scientific reality. Thus, the students play both magic students and junior scientists. The class will implement short videos, 3-d astronomy websites, and interactive quizzes for the students to test their knowledge. The whole course will conclude with a short quiz about what we've learned, and a handout and certificate that the students can take home.

Students will learn what a constellation is and the classic myths behind such as Draco, Hercules, Orion, Sirius, and Phoenix, which have appeared in "Harry Potter," the Chronicles of Narnia, and various ancient mythologies. 課 2:
