This course uses "The United States Constitution: A Graphic Adaptation" to make learning about the US Constitution fun, engaging, and interactive. "The United States Constitution: A Graphic Adaptation" by Jonathan Hennessey uses the art of illustrated storytelling to breathe life into our nation's founding principles. Students will read assigned sections outside of class and participate in discussions and projects during class time. Through reading the graphic novel, learners will understand the main concepts of the US Constitution, and they will analyze the historical context and significance of the Constitution. Learners will develop critical thinking skills through class discussions and projects. The learners will engage with the material in a visually stimulating format and through interactive class activities.
