This British politics course aims to provide students with no prior knowledge of the subject with a basic understanding of the UK political system as well as current political trends in the UK.

- Current issues

FORMAT

Tutoring sessions will be interactive, and students are encouraged to ask questions and bring their own view. There will be questions throughout the class to encourage this interaction. No prior knowledge of British politics is required. 

Sensitive topics will be dealt with appropriately and factually, with both sides given equal weighting. Multiple perspectives will always be presented so that the course provide students with the information that allows them to make up their own minds about issues.

WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?

This class is suitable for any student with an interest in studying politics, particularly UK politics. However, the class will draw comparisons with other major democracies around the world such as in the US so would be suitable for existing students of US politics and would enhance their understanding of how the US compares with other countries around the world.
