Transition words are crucial to good writing.  In this class, we will look at a list of transition words and discuss ways to enhance our writing with them.  Transitions can be placed at the beginning of a sentence, in the middle of a paragraph, or at the end of a paragraph to help move out of that paragraph smoothly and into an another.  Sample paragraphs will be used to practice where to insert appropriate transition words.  I teach in a relaxed manner.  This class is not appropriate for learners younger than ten.  The list and sample paragraphs will be posted in the classroom. Class rules:  We mute so we do not talk over one another, we are kind and respectful to everyone, and we raise our hand if we have a question or comment.  As per the Outschool rules, the camera must be turned on during class so I may verify the learner.
