In this course, your child will explore the fundamentals of writing a sentence. 

I will start the class by teaching what is needed to write a complete sentence such as capital letters and punctuation. Next, we will look at examples of sentences and see if they make sense and why they do and or don't. We will also fix sentences, build sentences, and write sentences through several different activities to help build their skills and confidence in sentence writing. 

This is a beginner class and intended for students who are just learning to write sentences. Students would benefit from taking this class more then once to work on writing sentences. Students are welcomed to join anytime. If they are successful with this class they are encouraged to take the next class I offer in sentence writing. In that class, they will be writing sentences off of pictures they are shown.
