Students will learn elements of writing such as organization, voice, word choice sentence structure and punctuation and apply these skills to writing. Each class will start with a skills focus and then move to practicing the skill. The student will complete two major essays by the end of the class. One will be a personal narrative while the other is a compare and contrast essay.
