Learners will need to have black construction paper, glitter glue of as many colors as students would like to use for their project, a toilet paper roll, colorful paper (such as construction paper, foil paper, wrapping paper, etc), craft wire or pipe cleaners, and glue or tape. These supplies can be found at dollar stores or often around the house.  
Students will need to have read or listened to "The Remarkable Rocket" by Oscar Wilde prior to attending class.
