From Frida Kahlo to Corrie ten Boom, from Marie Curie to Maya Angelou, we'll take a deep dive into the lives and accomplishments of women who shattered stereotypes, challenged the status quo, and left their mark on history.

But this isn't your average #academic history class! We'll be bringing these ladies to life with interactive games, group discussions, and even some cool crafts. Who knows, you might even discover your own inner trailblazer along the way.

Each class we'll discuss the childhood, education, hobbies, family life, and life accomplishments of one woman. Throughout the lesson students can interact on Nearpod through memory games, drawing challenges, quiz games, word searches, and short answer questions. Then we'll discuss the question “How did this woman change her community and the world?” 

Nearpod is a free interactive educational program that I use to keep students entertained and engaged the entire class. It also allows me to provide students with instant feedback on their work. More information will be provided about how to access Nearpod when you sign up for the class.
