There will be information about the origins of the month-long observation, including people who were involved in advocating for it and creating it. Some little-known facts about Black History Month will be provided, along with information on the reasons why the month was created. Students will learn some valuable and interesting information about the history of Black History Month. The class will also measure reading and comprehension, with quiz questions at the end of the lesson to assess what the student learned.
