As the class name suggests, this class focuses on the science of sensory. Learners will make a simple sensory recipe each class, with a tie in to a short science lesson and/or a tie in to learning about the sensory systems and their effect on us! Class will start with an overview of the day, lead into making the sensory medium, then move on to any extra information for the day/the science behind it all. I have about 6 years of teaching and treating in the online space and I'm comfortable and engaging when leading learners in our lessons and activities for the day. I utilize slides, visuals, lecture, games, video clips and encourage discussion to keep kiddos engaged and interested. 

Week 1 : make cloud dough and learn about 10 different kinds of clouds!
Week 2 : make oobleck and learn about non-newtonian fluids
Week 3: make tactile sticks and learn about the tactile (touch) system
Week 4: make foam paint and learn about the planets
Week 5 : water and oil experiment with the science behind it
Week 6 : rainbow vinegar and baking soda with explanation
Week 7 : oral motor racecourse with straws and pom poms
Week 8 : make moon sand and learn about the moon phases
