Welcome to Pug Fiction: Rainbow Edition! In this class, students will meet up weekly with members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community to complete fun writing prompts. These writing exercises are a great way to get inspired, beat writer's block, and create new characters and plots. You will need a pen or pencil and a notebook, OR a computer with a keyboard, to complete writing exercises and prompts throughout the class.
Pug Fiction: Rainbow Edition includes age-appropriate LGBTQIA+ book recommendations. Examples include Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz; Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo; and If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo.
