Does your learner require personalized lessons with individualized attention from a teacher to learn better? Are you hoping to get them caught up in areas of skill deficit that is impeding their progress at school? I can help!

My name is Sara and I'm a Learning Support Teacher at the Elementary level. I work with students daily on their IEP goals and areas of weakness to get them closer to where they can be. This is not limited to just academic goals. I also teacher Social Skills and can help your learner with their specific needs! 

This is a one time tutoring class.

The first session is an assessment class, and priced at half price (I will refund you the difference). If you are here for reading support, I will gauge what areas of reading they need support in and consult you, the parent, on the messaging center before our first tutoring session. If you are here for social skills, I will ask you for more information before our first class which I will treat as an assessment class at half price (I will refund you). If you are here for IEP goal help, I will ask you for more information as well before our first assessment class. I will assess your learner based on the information that you provide at half price for the assessment class.

If your child enjoys class and you would like to book future tutoring sessions, please see my schedule. I will have openings each week typically in the evenings after school (EST) and a few per weekend. Each class spirals from the previous class with your child, and I create individual lessons for each of my students that I tutor on a completely individualized basis. Although it can be time extensive on my end, I am a strong believer in personalized and individualized learning! As a Special Education Teacher, it is my priority to offer engaging, high-quality and fun lessons that are unique to your child. 

Please let me know what your child’s needs are when you schedule the first class (the assessment class). You will receive a form from me asking more specific questions, which help me know what your learner needs during our time together.

If your child has been identified as a student with an IEP and you would like additional support on their IEP goals, please let me know as well before class and I am happy to teach according to their goals.

Please note: It is my objective as an educator and advocate for quality education to help children in their educational endeavors. The partnership and communication between teacher and parent is very important for the success of the student. I require a brief description of your child (academic and/or behavioral needs) to help make the lesson appropriate. If I have not been provided this information by 72 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, this session is subject to cancellation.
