Step into the world of piano with our Introductory Class designed for beginners! In this engaging course, you will gain a solid foundation in essential piano skills. Key Highlights: 1. Read music: Learn to read treble and bass clefs, understanding the notes and rhythms that for the basis of music. 2. Building chords: Discover how to construct basic chords and explore their relationships, enhancing your ability to play harmonically. 3. Exploring scales: Understand the importance of scales in music, and practice major and minor scales to improve your finger dexterity and familiarity with the keyboard. 4. Creating melodies: This class is perfect for those with minimal to no prior experience and want to build their path to becoming a confident experience.

For over a decade, I have provided music instruction for PreK through high school across all types of instruments and ensembles. My students have gone on to successful careers with many of them performing in music. My skills of learning one instrument and being able to effectively transfer that understanding to many other instruments have served me well as a school music educator and earning a Master's of Music from the University of Tennessee for general, vocal, and instrumental education. I have been recognized in the music education industry for my innovative teaching and dedication to ensuring my students receive appropriate teaching methods that help them effectively and safely develop their potential.
