During this class we will be using Doc McStuffins to guide us in our journey of learning letter sounds. Each class will cover 3 new letters and review letters learned in past "Phonics With Doc McStuffins" classes. The students will begin combining letter sounds to make words as early as the first lesson. Your little one will be sounding out words and reading in no time with help from this phonics class. *******Class beginning in May**********(Wednesday) week 1(5/26/2021): S,a,t week 2 (6/2): i, p, n week 3 (6/9): c,k,e week 4 (6/16): h,r,m week 5 (6/23): d, g, o week 6 (6/30): l,f,b week 7 (7/7): j,z,w week 8 (7/14):v, y, x, q week 9 (7/21): short vowel sounds week 10 (7/28): long vowel sounds week 11 (8/4): review both vowel sounds week 12 (8/11): long a words (-a_e/-ai/-ay) week 13 (8/18): long e words (-ea/-ee/-ey/-ei/-e_e) week 14 (8/25): long i words (-i/-i_e/-ie/-igh) week 15 (9/1): long o words (-o/-o_e/-oe/-oa/-ow) week 16 (9/8): long u words (-u/-u_e/-ue/-eu/-ew) week 17 (9/15): word families

Hello,
My name is Teacher Sarah and I have been teaching online in China for over three years. I look forward to meeting new learners in America. I believe that all children can form a love for reading at a young age when given the correct tools. My goal is to provide you with the necessary tools to be a successful readers. Beginning with individual letter sounds and cvc words, until the student can blend the sounds to begin reading for younger students.
When I am not teaching I enjoy getting outside rather the activity is hiking, kayaking and taking walks with my family and dogs. I look forward to meeting you eager learners.
