These 30-minute phonics lessons are designed to provide a daily "splash" of some of the most critical phonics skills, taught in 1st and 2nd grade, that students may not have mastered during the previous school year due to a variety of factors that could have disrupted their learning. I hold a current teaching certificate, along with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialist endorsement and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an ELL endorsement and 12 years of elementary general education teaching experience. I have taught (and loved) many students with a wide variety of additional needs, such as dyslexia, autism, or learning/focus/behavior challenges that make reading tricky.

Please bring a dry erase board and marker or magnetic letters with a magnetic board if you have them. They are not required, but would be helpful in achieving mastery with the skills.
