In my private phonics tutoring sessions, students will learn essential skills such as letter recognition, sound-letter correspondence, blending, and segmenting sounds. The topics will include an introduction to the alphabet (lowercase and uppercase), blending sounds to form words, and segmenting words to form words. Classes will typically be structured with a balance of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent activities. Each session will begin with a brief introduction to the topic, followed by interactive exercises, and conclude with application activities. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I believe in creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel safe to explore and make mistakes. I emphasize active participation and hands-on learning to keep students engaged and motivated. Since it is one-on-one, the student will have multiple opportunities to interact with me, ask questions, and receive feedback.
