This is Part 1 of the Ornithology Research, Draw, and Present (RDP) Series. However learners can take each part in any order as they do not build on each other. No background experience in Ornithology is required for this class. In this course, learners will research different birds and draw and prepare a presentation on one of the researched birds. Some of the information that learners will research and learn on each bird includes: What is its common and scientific name? Where is it...
- Practice research, discussion, drawing and presentation skills.
Dr. Lopez has a PhD in Ecology. She has research experience and has taught Ornithology courses in the classroom and in the field.

Homework

Learners should be able to look up information (research) and be comfortable with basic computer skills such as copying and pasting information without significant assistance.
For the drawing, learners will need paper, pen/pencil, and color pencils/crayons/markers.
