I believe that with the right tools and strategies, every student can succeed. I love helping students gain new skills and gain confidence in learning. I use an 'I do, you do, we do' model often, and I am very flexible and willing to adapt to all learning types. I like to incorporate students interests into the material as much as possible. I can teach a variety of topics in math including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, data analysis, fractions, decimals, etc. In reading I can tutor topics including but not limited to reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, story elements, citing evidence, essay writing, etc. Once I know your concerns and your students' needs, I can use their curriculum and my experience, tools, and strategies to help them gain and maintain needed skills.
