In this one time class, young chefs will prepare No-Bake Monster Cookie Balls! This will be a fun class with lots of stirring and hands on activities. During class we will start with a short introduction of all learners, review materials and ingredients, then dive into the recipe. During this class we will work on fine and gross motor skills, learn how to measure wet and sticky ingredients, and stir to combine ingredients. Students should feel free to ask questions and share information...
Ingredients: No-Bake Monster Cookie Balls 2.5 cups old-fashioned oats 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter, or alternative nut, or nut free butter 3/4 cup honey 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips 1/2 cup mini M&M candies Nonstick cooking spray Materials: Microwave Access Large mixing bowl 1 cup measuring cup 1/2 cup measuring cup 1 large mixing spoon 1 rubber spatula Cookie scoop with trigger or large eating spoon for making balls 1 cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
