Montessori Math- The Colored Beads 1 to 19

In this class, students will dive deep on a Montessori Math Class using one of the most powerful tool in early childhood numeration-colored beads. This material is an integral part of the Montessori math curriculum and serves as a main materials for teaching children fundamental mathematical concepts in a concrete and engaging manner.

Throughout the course, students will explore the numerical hierarchy from 1 to 19, gaining a deep understanding of each number's composition and relationship to others. Using the Montessori colored bead stair, students will visually and tactilely grasp the concept of quantity and learn to associate each numeral with its corresponding quantity.

• Duration: 40 minutes 

• Materials: Printed version is included in the learning materials/worksheets. 

• Presentation: I use actual Montessori math materials and visual learning tools to accommodate each students unique learning abilities. 

• Work: After the math presentation, some practice worksheets will be provided and/or materials manipulation if available at home. 

• Equipment: Basic knowledge with computer and mouse

• Class Policy: Please make sure your learner is unmuted for the full class with video on. This class is mostly "Hands-on" so to fully participate, the student will need the materials (pdf) ready and manipulative/counters.
