In this private tutoring session, I will assist one learner with math homework and/or a math concept. I have tutored math for many years. I’m also a homeschool mom. Homework should be sent to me at least an hour in advance. I will go over as many problems as time allows. Sometimes students may not have homework but may want to brush up skills in an area and that is quite fine as well. I have a fun interactive teaching style. I try to make all my learners as comfortable as possible by getting to know them. It is hard for students to learn when they are uncomfortable. If a parent wants a consistent tutoring schedule, I will be more than happy to work something out. Examples of concepts I am able to teach (but not limited to) are as follows: Addition Subtraction Multiplication Division Factors Multiples Fractions Decimals Numeral Expressions

Hi! My name is Mrs. LaShana! I love teaching math classes. I also love teaching Preschool. I have worked with children for over 15 years. I worked as a daycare teacher for 6 years. I have an Associate's degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Fun fact: Mathematics was my my original major in college until Senior year. I am using all those skills to teach. I am a former homeschool mother of 3 children. I am always learning. I think it is a life-long journey. I think learning should be continuous and exciting! My hobbies are cooking, sewing, and crafting. Interesting fact: I once decorated a mirror filled with pennies!
