識字！模組 7：前綴和後綴

This fundamental class, taught by certified teachers, is designed to give students a solid foundation in phonological awareness, phonics, writing, vocabulary, and decodable reading in a fun and engaging way. Our curriculum is 100% aligned to a comprehensive, heavily researched, systematic and explicit phonics-based scope & sequence that is rooted in the Science of Reading. We also will work on high frequency words (decodable and irregular), multisyllabic words, word chains, dictation practice, and fluency. Our desire is to SPARK your child’s passion for reading through a variety of activities and games. We will learn common prefixes and suffixes over the course of 20 weeks (see scope and sequence below). Students can join the class at any time as we spiral back to review all previously taught concepts each week.  It’s the perfect class for ESL students too!

Decodable books and additional resources will be provided each week to enrolled students for extra practice.
