每週 1-2 小時. Study time for Latin should be 2 hours for every hour of class. Study the vocabulary handouts I send after class. Write the nouns, adjectives, and verbs in charts so that you can commit them to memory. Do the translation sentences I provide in the handout after class. It is not to be turned in, but it is for your own benefit. If you have questions, always feel free to send a message to me on Outschool. Just because class is over, doesn't mean I disappear!評估

課堂經歷
Previous knowledge required: A working knowledge of English grammar; 1st/2nd noun/adjective declensions and cases; 1st/2nd and "To Be" verb conjugations in the past, future, and imperfect tenses; rudimentary vocabulary including common conjunctions. If this is your first class with me, I will send you a vocabulary list prior to class starting so you can refer to it as we work. We will go over the "Be" verb (esse) in the present, future, and imperfect tenses, and then add "Able to" (potis) to create very recognizable sentences with the complementary infinitive and helping verbs. We will also look at inscriptions and attempt to translate a few of those. This is a very interactive class. We do repetition, drills, and sight reading. We discuss Roman culture, linguistics, and how Latin still affects many modern languages. Education is a conversation, and your voice is valued. Please feel free to share ideas, comments, and ask questions! No 3rd party accounts are necessary. We do use the free online resource (Latin Wiktionary) as our dictionary and case-checker!
