I am eager to share research-based strategies to effectively learn a new language. In these multiple-day lessons, the student will increase their vocabulary that will allow them to maintain a simple social conversation when traveling locally and internationally, follow the curriculum in a Hispanic school, and may a have doctor's appointment. This will be an interactive lesson where the student will listen carefully, repeat, and practice Spanish by writing poems and writing a short dialogue applying grammatical rules. They will learn the proper usage of verbs, nouns, and pronouns. 

My teaching style is student-centered. The class will move forward at the student's pace. I will make sure that students understand what they are doing before I provide opportunities for independent work. The student will be able to see models of dialogue in short video clips.

This class is for a student who does not speak Spanish whatsoever or want to improve the Spanish language. They must be fluent speakers in their native language. They will identify cognates that will help them with the transition of languages. The following, but not limited to, is what will be taught:

Week 3 (Two Days)
Vocabulary: Orders in School: 12 words/phrases
Demonstrative Pronouns
Past Simple Irregular Verbs
Affirmative

Week 4: (Two Days)
Vocabulario: Frutas: 12 words
Questions in Past Simple
Future
Negative
