This is an ongoing class that meets 2 times a week to work on a single weekly math concept.   Each week we will focus on one concept.  This is an Ongoing Class and students may JOIN AT ANYTIME. Topics and activities are designed for learners who have already mastered concepts from my Kindergarten Full Curriculum Semester 1 .   We will apply the basic knowledge from Semester 1 to solve word problems, math riddles, learn vocabulary, adding, subtracting and numbers to 100.  Students should have a solid understanding of numbers to 20, comparing numbers, 2-D shape names, 3-D shape names, and reading basic graphs.  Each week will follow the same format, but work on different math concepts.  Although topics will repeat at the end of the cycle, activities will be different when the topic comes around again.  This is done to reinforce skills and to expand a learner's math knowledge.   Since this is an ongoing class, it is designed for learners to join or leave at any time.  This class will work on 14 week cycle that repeats at the end of the cycle.  All skills will be focused on once during the 14 week cycle, however many skills are covered every week due to how the topics interact.  This class is an academic class, not a social class.  Students may be muted for short periods during the lesson to minimize background noise and maximize learning time.

⭐I will provide weekly resources to allow the learner multiple ways to continue their learning outside class time.   Some of the resources students will receive are cut and paste activities, flashcards, and coloring.  Many of the activities, worksheets and papers are materials I used in my independent centers in my classroom.  After some practice, students should be able to complete the activities with minimal help.

🏫Week of April 17 - Compare and Explore Measuring Weights and lengths
