What will be taught?
Students will be taught about influential women of color from history and current times. 

How is your class structured?
Introductions, comprehension building and story or lecture on the topic, mapwork to build geography skills, and a project or discussion on what we learned. 

1.5/2  Anne Lowe and create a Fashion Design bring paper or do a digital doll 
2. 5/9 Edmonia Lewis and create a sculpture like her - Bring Playdough or clay 
3. 5/16 Alma Thomas and create art like her - see attached
4. 5/23 5 Fabulous Women from history and Kahoot Final Class

Included in each class is a an activity or project to help show what your child has learned. This is great for homeschool families who have to maintain a portfolio and is also a great way to make sure learning sticks.
