3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup vegan butter (you can use non-vegan if you would like)
1/4 cup agave (the lighter colored agave will make sure that the filling remains white)
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 1/2 cups vegan chocolate chips (you can use non-vegan if you would like)
A large baking sheet
Hand or stand mixer (you could use a whisk if you do not have an electric one)
Measuring spoons and cups
A medium bowl
A medium pot
A glass or metal bowl that fits on top the medium pot without touching the bottom
This method requires learners to melt chocolate. Heat on the stove and hot water in the double boiler can be dangerous. Caution should be used. A second pair of hands and/or supervision is always welcome when dealing with cautions such as this.
For younger leaners, supervision is required.
