This class wil cover evidence-based startegies for multiplication and division fluency such as repeated addition, tape- diagrams, arrays, touch math and much more! This is not a rote memorization class but rather a class that will help students with life-long strategies and concepts for multiplication nad division fluency.

Students participating in this course will enhance their multiplication and division foundational skills through a series of dynamic activities. These activities are not only educational but also designed to be enjoyable for the students.

The class aims to support students learning and mastery of mathematical procedures, concepts, and reasoning. Each week, students will focus on a particular skill, for example, multiplication strategies for 3s, by participating in an interactive and engaging class structure. Students will utilize an interactive application where they will be able to annotate problem responses, collaborate with their classmates, and play game quizzes. Students will also participate in math games throughout the course in order to keep students engaged in learning. The structure of this class encourages students to appreciate the process of math rather solely focusing on the outcome. Whatever the student's educational history, I believe that this class will motivate students to appreciate math in their lives.
