Mario Bros fans will love this one-time class where we draw a holiday themed Boo Snowman! This lesson is also available as part of a 6-day camp - if you’d like to view the camp: bit.ly/3d7zmRD This listing is for the one-time class. I will teach young artists how to identify shapes and lines in Super Mario Bros characters (with a Christmas twist!), and create a drawing by following along, as I guide the process step-by-step. Students may use a pencil with a good eraser, and then go over lines using a black marker. After drawing the figure, we will color them in, and students can use any coloring utensil they prefer! Crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint, pastels, the sky is the limit! While this is an art-based course, we want to also feel like a community, and get to know others who share a love for Super Mario Bros. This class puts a holiday twist on my other Mario Bros character drawing classes!

I am most passionate about teaching art and learning in unique ways. My approach to teaching infuses encouragement and optimism while having fun and connecting with a new generation over shared interests. Every child is special and celebrated for being who they are! No matter the class, I believe in positively approaching learning and finding joy in it.
• Outside of Outschool, I founded a nonprofit youth performing arts academy in 2015.
