畫一隻狗：金毛小狗素描

In this one-time drawing course, students will learn the basics of drawing a realistic golden retriever puppy portrait.  Students will learn techniques to draw a proportionate golden retriever puppy portrait (head to chest) using pencil.  Students will also learn basic shading techniques and techniques for adding fur texture.  I will demonstrate each step for students and have students complete that step along with me.  My classroom is a calm, fun, and creative environment where discussion between teacher and students is encouraged.  I ask students questions throughout the lesson to check for student understanding.  Students may also interact with each other if they want to share what they have learned during class.  Students who enroll in this class should have basic drawing skills, like drawing and manipulating shapes with a pencil.  Students do not need previous knowledge of how to draw animals, but should have a passion for drawing!  Students who are more advanced in drawing would also do well in this class.
