This is an early childhood music & storytime class in a print-rich and prop-filled environment. We will start with a welcome, we'll get to know each other, and learn each others' names while we take turns showing our dinosaurs to the class. Then we'll learn and sing a simple 'hello' song. Next, we will check in with our emotions using emotion cards, then I will introduce and read the dinosaur story which will include lots of dramatic play, singing, questions, predictions, and counting. We will then sing a song about dinosaurs and dance and play along. To close the class, I'll teach the students a simple 'goodbye' song to sing together.
學習目標
This class will strengthen social/emotional development, reading comprehension skills, coordination, and large motor development. It will increase creativity and imagination and allow for self-expression. Music and reading improve and enhance language development and school readiness.
