Have you ever wondered why chickens look or behave the way they do? From the shape of their feet to the noises they make, chickens are interesting characters. Students will dive into the world of animal science as we take a closer look at evolution and pose a question: Are chickens related to dinosaurs? Slides will be shown as we explore the lineage of birds by investigating in their biology, behavior and more. By the end of class, we will decide if chickens really are descendants of dinosaurs.
