Students will be learning why fingerprinting is important, how to identify people from their fingerprints, jobs that will utilize fingerprinting, and how to take their own fingerprints. We will also look at how fingerprinting helps in criminal investigations. I will teach by giving background, new info, and modeling then letting them try it for themselves. We will be using direct instruction, Gim Kit, and exploration. My teaching style is laid back. I love it when we can have conversations that lead to deeper understanding instead of a set schedule. This class is highly interactive. No prior experience or knowledge is needed.

In this class, I will be using Gimkit to assess student knowledge at the end of the session.
