Crime is everywhere, not just in your video games! We think about modern-day crimes a lot, but what about crimes of the past? Crimes in different countries? How did events in history shape those crimes, or how did those crimes shape history? We'll examine all of that in this class! Students will spend the first part of class (20-25 minutes) learning about a crime that took place in history. This will be told in a story format. Students are free to discuss and react to all the wild details! Any pictures or other visual aids that are available to further illustrate the story will be presented. For the remainder of class students will play Among Us. Please be sure to have the latest version of the game downloaded to your device. To ensure a quicker entry into the private game, please be sure to sign in and have your location set to North America. These classes do not build on previous classes. Students can come and go at any time. Although the game is "Public", communication is limited by the Quick Chat Only function.

Violent images or graphics will not be shown. The majority of the cases we will learn about involve theft, fraud, or other white-collar crimes. There is a possibility, however, that a violent act may be described. It will not be the focus of the case and will only be mentioned if it is pertinent to the greater story.
