Age 9-14 Ballet classes provides a broad practical dance education, progressively developing the technical, musical and performance skills of the student. These grades incorporate Classical Ballet. At the beginning of class we will start with barre work, including plie, tendu, jete, rond de jambe, frappe, fondu, and grand battement. Once the student has accomplished these steps, we will move on to center work. In the center, the student will further learn how to find correct balance and...
Students will improve their ballet technique and awareness of this dance type.
Ballet shoes or non slip socks are required for this class, a water bottle, ballet barre highly preferred if not a steady chair, proper ballet leotard, tights, hair in bun or pony tale The goal for my classes is to prevent injuries, so I please ask students to be supervised if needed so he/she can prevent injuries and be as safe as possible.
