生命科學入門：蜜蜂的一生

5 minutes-  This will be spent building background knowledge and discussing what learners already know about all types of bees. 

20-25 minutes- I will read the story "From Egg to Bee".  I will stop frequently to discuss what we've read, point out details from pictures, explain why and how pictures are labeled certain ways, discuss key vocabulary and allow time for learners to share their own thoughts about what we've read.  Several bee pictures will be shared throughout the lesson as well.  I will also interject my own knowledge about bees (my husband and I have a few bee hives of our own on our little farm :)).

- Throughout the lesson, students will have the opportunity to draw and/or write what they are learning about.

5 minutes- I will wrap up the lesson by asking and answering questions about was learned about all types of bees.  Learners will also have to opportunity to share their drawings/writing. 

* Follow up activities will be shared with all learners at the end of the class to help enhance their learning and understanding of bees.

*This class will be taught regardless of the number of learners that have signed up.  Time may be adjusted for classes with a smaller number of students.
