每週 1 小時. Students will be give a study list ahead of class. Students should study the words before class and participate in the bee without the help of the study list for an accurate assessment of their spelling retention and accuracy.評估

In this one time class students will practice for competitive spelling bees. The small class format will be run like a national spelling bee. Students will receive a spelling list ahead of class. During class students will be tested for spelling accuracy and immediate feedback and strategies will be given for words that they miss during the practice bee. If students choose to take this class more than one time, new spelling word lists will be given for each class. Spelling words will range from 5th - 8th grade level, with targeted grade level lists available on request.

Students will practice for classroom, school-wide, regional, or national level spelling bees in a format similar to competitive spelling bees.
