✨Welcome! 👩‍🚀 This is an ongoing class that meets two days per week. If you need a different time slot that is more convenient, please message me with your request and I will try to create a section for you. 

✨ Enrollment is simple and you may choose one or two learners for this tutoring class. 

🪐 Your learner is an amazing, real life superhero, who might just need some one on one, specialized tutoring and a little encouragement along the way. 

🪐This academic, astronaut-themed class offers fun, engaging, personalized, one-on-one (or two, if you choose; especially convenient for siblings) tutoring with an experienced early childhood teacher based on the needs of your learner and tailored just for them; perfect for homeschool learners, kindergarten readiness, ESL students or anyone who may benefit from individualized teaching. 

🪐Whether it's learning phonics, letter blends, sounds, letter formation and identification, rhyming, phonemic awareness, building a strong reading foundation, spelling difficult words or differentiating between words like, "their, they're and there", I can help! Whether your learner is a preschooler who needs help with letter sounds, word families and sight words or a second grader who is struggling with spelling words and/or reading comprehension, I am here to help!  

🪐Students of all different learning levels are welcome! Students do not need prior reading skills for this class.

🪐This is a personalized, one on one tutoring class for anyone preparing for kindergarten or who needs help with letters, phonics, early reading, reading and beyond. These tutoring sessions are personally designed just for your learner. 

✨This is an ongoing class, so the slot you sign up for is yours for as long as you would like it. 

👩‍🚀Throughout this course, I will engage learners with astronaut and space words, pictures and colorful props. I will mention occasional space and astronaut facts and will read small excerpts from children's space and astronaut themed books, pointing out the elements of phonics we have learned or are in the process of learning and using them for examples.

✨I am a patient, caring, experienced teacher who encourages students and helps them succeed in reaching their goals with confidence. I will meet your learner where they are with personalized, foundational skills in preparation for kindergarten or in any area based on the needs of your learner and in a one-on-one setting. 

👩‍🚀I have a BS degree in English/Language Arts and Early Childhood Education and I am an experienced early childhood educator in traditional school, homeschool and CO-OP settings.

🚀I will provide the educational materials needed for tutoring and will tailor those materials around the student's needs. 

🚀I create fun, personalized coloring pages and provide optional bonus materials for extra practice outside of class, if desired.

🚀I use props and face to face interaction more than sharing slides, videos, etc. for more engaging, hands-on learning.

🚀Optional homework for extra practice at home is available.

✨You know your learner best, so upon enrollment, please message me with some of your learner's favorite things and simply let me know what you feel are any strengths and/or weaknesses and I will create a lesson plan of success, specifically for your learner.
