課堂經歷
In this one time social class for learners who love cats and kittens, we will have cat and kitten themed show and tell, color together, talk about everything cat related, learn fun feline facts, tell cat stories and make new friends! Learners will bring their favorite stuffed or real cat and take turns sharing all about them during show and tell. Yay! Other show and tell ideas include favorite cat related items such as a cat toy, cat picture, stuffed cat, photo of your cat or feline friend, etc. Everyone will discuss their common love for cats and why they love cats in general. We will chat about everything cat related. I will lead learners in a discussion on cat facts, breeds, personalities and more. Students will share stories while showing off their own furry friend, whether it be real or stuffed, during show and tell. A special cat themed ornament, gift, book or craft also make great show and tell items. Before class, I will send each student a cat themed coloring sheet they can color together while we discuss fun feline facts. If your learner would rather bring their own coloring book, that is fine, too. At the end of class everyone can share their art work. I will not have a live cat with me in class but will be thrilled to see what you will bring! I hope your learner will join me in this fun class! :)

Hello! I love being an Outschool teacher and look forward to every class! I am here to serve you and your student and it is my goal to make learning fun!
I have several years of experience teaching pre-k and kindergarten readiness, phonics, phonemic and phonological awareness, reading, English, Language Arts and more. I also have over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring and have classroom experience from preschool through 12th grade, all subjects and all learning levels in public, private and homeschool settings. I have experience as a homeschool co-op teacher and mom as well. I absolutely love teaching.
Here are some of my qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in English/Language Arts
- Over 20 years of full-time classroom experience
- 4 years of online teaching and tutoring experience
- Experience teaching and tutoring neurodivergent students
- Current 120 hour TESOL certification / ESL teaching experience
I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, creative and rewarding. I love to encourage my students and cheer them on throughout their learning journeys. In addition to fun, interactive group classes, I offer personalized, one on one tutoring.
My classes are EST (Eastern Standard Time) in the U.S. I offer classes ranging from 6am to 9pm EST in an effort to serve learners in a variety of locations.
