You have made it so far! But do you have what it takes to go further? This 3rd Degree Brown Belt course will teach you all you need to get to 2nd Degree Brown Belt!. During this session, we will learn a few new combinations, kempos, strikes and grabs. Is there a lot of material? Yes, however, this class incorporates "extra material". This means that there are required moves but also additional for those that feel they can handle more. How far can a student go? This is one of several courses...
Each week, students will learn one of the movements from the requirement list provided. Which one? Depends on the students. After the course, all sessions will be taught, the order does not make the difference.
Martial arts is all about defense. We talk about striking and how this can effect another person. We also discuss targets such as the groin, or private area will be named as such in discussion. Through my 35 years of martial arts, I have been involved in tournaments, demonstrations, testing other students and had operated a dojo for over 25 years. In addition, I am a 3rd grade school teacher with a degree in special education. This does not mean I can teach all with special needs and can discuss any particulars with you.
1 註冊後即可取得文件The belt requirements will be posted in the classroom prior to the beginning of the first session. Simply open and print for your own information. Since students have been learning martial arts for some time, it is to their benefit (but not required) to obtain a kid friendly bag for striking.

Please make sure that the student has an open workout space (a 6ft by 6ft area), proper footwear (barefoot or socks that have grips on the bottom), a water bottle if needed, and stretching before the class is recommended. As in any physical activity, there is a risk for injury. Please make sure parents are present to observe their child during this activity for their safety.
