This course is designed for second graders, though other's may join if they are working on second grade standards. In this on-going class we will come together and prepare our brains for the day ahead. I will be using the second grade common core standards to guide instruction. This is an on-going class meaning that you do not have to join all the classes. Each day is it's own lesson and does not build on previous days. I have taught in the public elementary school for 10 years, of which three were second grade. I hold a West Virginia Teaching Certificate with Early Education Endorsement. I have been working with children for 17 years through the classroom setting, summer and after school programs and a daycare center. I hold a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching virtually for the last 5 months.
