Circle time is an essential part of the early childhood education experience. It provides a time for children to come together and participate in activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Circle time also allows educators to introduce new concepts and skills and assess each child’s understanding. Children in preschool derive many benefits from circle time activities. In this class we will come together to discuss the day, date, weather, communication, and sharing. This will be a repetitive time for the children to relax and know what is coming next. Focus and concentration is naturally built as the children are encouraged to express themselves about their lives and environment. I look forward to meeting them.
