In this tutoring course, students will become more confident and proficient in different skills. As a seasoned and current upper elementary teacher, I understand the importance and value of one on one instruction for students who need additional support. I aim to provide helpful strategies to allow students to feel confident when completing independent assignments and assessments. This course can be used to prepare for an upcoming assessment or standardized test or just simple weekly "maintenance" to make sure that your learner is not falling behind in school! Possible topics include independent reading and comprehension skills, strengthening writing details and craft, math exposure, gifted/enrichment activities to push student thinking, social studies and science test preparation... whatever your student needs!

This course is great for students who need additional support for tricky concepts or need to be challenged and pushed past grade level expectations. My teaching style allows for students to have fun during tutoring (brain breaks/games are included in each session) to make the learning experience more engaging and enjoyable. 

Before each session, I will notify parents and students to send me the skills that the child is working on or struggling with and I will create a interactive lesson centered around that skill. These personalized lessons will include reteaching the skill, if necessary, and on-grade level and extension questions to push the student's thinking. 

This tutoring course is available for as long as you like and parents can unenroll when the tutoring is no longer needed! School can be tricky, but one on one instruction can be just the solution your learner needs!
