Dive into the immersive world of World War I history in this engaging 3-day camp! Through an interactive strategy game, learners will explore the complex causes of WW1, including militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism.

In this camp, learners will gain a deep understanding of the historical context and forces that led to World War I. Through hands-on activities and gameplay, they will learn about the key events, actors, and ideologies of this pivotal period in history.

Topics covered include the militarization of European powers, the formation of alliances, the expansionist ambitions of imperialist nations, and the rise of nationalist sentiments. Through gameplay, learners will experience the interconnectedness of these factors and their role in sparking the Great War.

The class is structured around interactive strategy gaming sessions, where learners will take on the roles of different countries and navigate the political and military landscape of pre-WW1 Europe. 

Additionally, each day will conclude with a debrief session where learners can reflect on their experiences and insights gained from the gameplay. Finally, and if time allows, we'll wrap up the camp with an exciting Kahoot quiz to reinforce key concepts and test their knowledge in a fun and competitive way!
