I have over twenty years experience working with and teaching students.  I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics.  My master's degree is in Higher Education.  I also have a juris doctorate degree in Law.  Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular!

Each week learners will receive three to five assignments that will be found in the Outschool classroom.  The assignments include readings and activities. Activities include fill-in-the-blank, writing open-response questions, drawing, and many others.

Students will also complete three projects during the class.  Each project will be centered around one of the topics we are learning about, and students will have a variety of choices that match their interests.

Resources from the Library of Congress Native American Collection and the National Museum of the American Indian will be used during our unit on the First Civilizations as well as throughout the course.
