During this engaging course, students will learn about the history surrounding the ship, The Titanic. Topics to be covered will include: the architecture of the ship, the historical setting in England and the United States, the people that boarded and worked on the ship, the sinking of the ship, survivor stories, and explorations of the sunken ship. Interactive slides, primary and secondary historical sources, fun lectures, discussions, and activities to immerse students in this era of history are used to engage students during each class. Course Outline: Day 1: The Building of the Titanic Day 2: The People on the Titanic Day 3: The Titanic Hits the Iceberg Day 4: The Sinking of Titanic and Survivor Stories Day 5: The Shipwreck
