In this class we will work together to sew a dress for 18" dolls. Prior to beginning class students must already be comfortable with their sewing machine and able to sew straight lines. Day 1: Picking your fabric - we will discuss types of fabric and what fabrics are appropriate for this project. Students will need to purchase (or otherwise source) the fabric for their project between day 1 and day 2. Day 2: Cutting your pattern - will will work together to cut our pattern/fabric. We will...
Students will have a better understanding of fabrics, patterns (and instructions) and basic sewing methods including tucks on cotton fabrics after finishing this class.

Students will need to have access to a working sewing machine for this class. The instructor will be using an older version of this machine: https://amzn.to/2XtCcsY Students are responsible for knowing how to turn on, and thread their spacific machine prior to beginning class. If you need help with these steps often craft store employees (who you can meet with personally) and/or youtube videos are of great assistance.
