Bring your dolls and your creative minds. Each week will include time to show off the fashion you have created for your doll followed by a design challenge for the next week. We do everything from making hats and skirts to designing something inspired by your pet or your favorite flower. Use what you have on hand and get ready to be inspired! All doll sizes welcome including, but not limited to, 11.5" (Barbie) style dolls and 18" (American Girl, Generation Me, Our Generation, and Journey Girls) style dolls. We'll begin class with a highlight on each student as they show off their doll's fashion. We'll then discuss the inspiration behind the fashions we have chosen including fabric/material choices, crafting strateies, hairstyles, and more. Each class ends with a challenge for next week's design - you're not required to paricipate in the challenge but we hope you will. Join us for an inspirational time! Weekly Challenge Plans for the week. We will be encouraging learners to bring a home designed outfit in the following theme or category. All classes scheduled for the week beginning with the Sunday date listed will use the following topics. January 7: ready for bed 14: something blue 21: royalty 28: a coat February 4: school ready 11: hearts or love 18: fancy or formal 25: something pink March 3: Earth inspired 10: stretchy 17: something green 24: career ready 31: hat or headcovering April 7: baby inspired 14: something purple 21: rain ready 28: buttons May 5: designed to be comfortable 12: floral 19: something yellow 26: with ruffles or pleats June 2: matching 9: something silver 16: denim 23: with stripes 30: neon July 7: historically inspired 14: something brown 21: with cutouts 28: bag or purse August 4: something orange 11: modern print or style 18: hair accessory 25: polkadots September 1: dress or skirt 8: something black 15: shoes 22: animal inspired 29: party outfit October 6: scarry 13: something orange 20: vegetable inspired 27: costume or disguise November 3: something you would wear 10: something pink 17: your favorite outfit 24: bird inspired December 1: something fuzzy 8: something that makes you happy 15: something red 22: glitter or shiny 29: something new *Note: Because of the short length of this class learners who are more than 5 minutes late may not be admitted to the classroom.

Hello! I'm Aubrey and I am mom to 9 crazy children ages four through sixteen. We live on a homestead in Idaho where we raise rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail, goats, pigs and sheep.
I have a degree in Math Education and one in Family History but I love to teach a number of subjects. I absolutely love meeting new students! My favorite thing about teaching is helping my students to learn to use the tools that I am giving them in their daily life. Join my classes to learn about math, English, history and many more homestead themed topics to help you complete daily tasks and possibly find a new hobby in the process.
